This scholarship was created in honor of John Cianciolo, who had a passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting young student athletes. John truly enjoyed teaching life lessons as a coach and believed sports were a great avenue to teach character values. As a coach and fan of youth sports, he valued integrity, respect, and character in student athletes. As a grandparent, he loved watching his grandkids compete on the field and the court. The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize student athletes who consistently display high moral character and lead by example.
